Samuel Ang is the Chairperson of Pollinate, the nationally funded institutional innovation hub and startup incubator and accelerator in Singapore where he was responsible for its design and establishment. The vibrant ecosystem involves half the institutes of higher learning (IHL) in Singapore and was holistically conceived and implemented with curated programs especially targeted for IHLs. from initial academic curriculum to focus areas from Fintech to IR4.0. Pollinate has since produced successful cohorts of IHL startups raising more than $70 million in their initial rounds of funding. Samuel consults for ADB on IR4.0 curriculum planning and innovation ecosystems development. He has also published multiple papers on institutional innovation and entrepreneurship
Stanislav bonsov is driving new partnerships and engagements with start-ups, SMEs, corporates, investors, and market entry partners, and working closely with them on technology translation, commercialisation and market entry programs at EcoLabs Centre of Innovation for Energy. He is also leading the EcoLabs E-Learning Platform initiative where energy-related courses and know-how will be aggregated from subject-matter experts, corporate partners and start-ups in their respective areas of expertise. With over nine years of experience in spearheading multi-million international energy projects in Singapore, France, Moscow, and Siberia, Stanislav is a certified Project Management Professional and holds an MBA degree from the National University of Singapore.
Dr Jayson Koh is Director at EcoLabs Centre of Innovation for Energy. He focuses on developing co-innovation and testbedding projects with start-ups, SMES, government agencies and large enterprises. Jayson has wide experience in early-stage technology development, open innovation, tech investment and IP strategy across many sectors. Prior to Ecolabs, he was heading Technology and Intellectual Property (IP) Strategy for new energy portfolio at SP Group and was concurrently the Project Director for delivering sustainability solutions to large campuses. He has held senior roles in consulting firm, venture capital fund, university incubator and more recently, he was the Founding Director for an Innovation Centre in APAC region. Jayson holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and trained in Data Analytics and Agile Framework.
He has contributed to evolving Worlddidac so that it can have a larger impact on the world of education and to stimulate new innovation and adoption of forward-looking practices to match with our changing world.
He is also the President and founder of Labtech International Ltd (www.labtech.org) which is a leader in the design, development and manufacturing of technical education systems both for hands-on and virtual learning. She is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, Ashoka Fellow, and Eisenhower Fellow, and is currently the Chair for the EQUALS ITU Digital Skills Coalition and TikTok Safety Advisory Council
